Found a slashdot thread on quality of lab prints here:

How would one tell the difference between a "wholesale photofinishing lab" and a "local minilab"
I'm trying to find an aussie place to get my digital photos printed and enlarged, but I'm baffled as to how to find a place that does a professional job.
Anyone know any good aussie places?

Auswide gives great service at pretty good prices. Remarkably Rabbit do very cheap prints if you join their membership club which is $10 a year. Their 8 x 10 or 8 x 12's are $4.00 each. As long as you are happy with your monitor calibration their prints come out pretty much what you see on the screen. Otherwise it will depend on which city you are in. Where abouts are you Schell?

Thanks! I'm in Wollongong, 1.5 hours south of Sydney.
But Auswide looks good to me, thanks!

How much is it for 8x10 or 8x12 print without membership club?
