Do you have a way of lightening the other bison to get more detail?

I only used the on camera flash. Next time I'll bring my slave flash.

I was thinking of computer editing to bring out the detail. I do not remember what program you use so I couldn't really commit on a procedure.

I have photoshop 6. I did try playing with it and made a mess.
