I recently bought a Rokinon 8mm Fisheye supposedly with Chip to permit Focus Confirm. The instructions were written in such a way as to confuse the reader. Or I am less intelligent than I believed. On my Nikon D7000, does anyone know how to set the camera so the focus confirmation will work? PLEASE, I am about to relegate the lens to purgatory. Tried to post an image, again, I must be really dumb, can't seem to get it done, but the lens has 1 + 4 pins on the barrel.

Hi!
That Rokinon is actually a rebraded Samyang lens. A real gem. You'll get great results with that combo, and the best part is that you don't need focus confirmation. just set the focus to 1.5 m and the f number to 5.6 or greater, and everything will be tack sharp.
Trying to use focus confirmation on that fish-eye lens will just get in your way.
