So, How do I get my original photos up on site if they are too big?
Will reducing them in size alter the EXIF in any way ?

EXIF will remain, resize as you done before. Really, what I meant was uploading the original jpg to a holding site, but comparing yours and mine will tell us something. Ed.

When you say "Holding Site"
Do you mean the likes of "Photo Bucket" ??
I am a registered member there !

If you'll include Lightroom in your workflow, you'll be able to export photos at different sizes, with or without an exif. I highly recomend using it.

I could also recommend you try a cloud storage service, like Dropbox or Google Drive. If it's too big to fit here, you can put it there and share the link.
