Interesting photo Don. I like the highlighting of the geometric patterns and how they lead your eye to the lights in the distance.
I wanted to ask you. When I take night photos, my lights are not as well defined as yours, which are lovely and crisp. I do not think in my case it is an overexposure, because I see this even at very low exposure. Do you have any advice for me? Thanks Pavel Please see my photos at http://mullerpavel.smugmug.com (fewer, better image quality, not updated lately) or at http://www.flickr.com/photos/pavel_photophile2008/ (all photos)

Don, I'm really glad to see that the new gear hasn't hurt your photography. If anything, there's been a big jump in quality - I can't imagine this image a year ago - without losing your distinctive vision and style.
It took me a while to see that these are all reserved parking spaces, which adds interest and novelty to the photo. I find myself wondering where this could be, and what we're doing there at a time when everyone else has gone away. The faint traces left from an earlier markings increases the feeling of uncertainty, as it transforms the entire architectural space into a palimpsest of temporary and arbitrary arrangements. Interesting, and not what I expected the first time I saw it. matthewpiers.com • @matthewpiers | robertsonphoto.blogspot.com | @thewsreviews • thewsreviews.com

Thanks everyone. These are kind comments. I took this photo before dawn, about 4am in the parking lot of an office building in Cedar Rapids, Iowa where I had been attending a wedding. I used the flash to get the highlights on the reflective markings. The lens was the 10-20 mm Sigma
