Photo Books
#1

Hey what do you think about this for special occasions? Not quite as expensive as a wedding album, but could be a great keepsake if you're covering a special event like a birthday or something like that.

The standard book has 30 21x21cm pages and can hold up to 50-60 photos. The pages are printed with laser printers, and cover has foil printing. The introductory price is $38.95 (Australian).

My Sister In law had one of these given to them just after the wedding, it was a combination of pictures taken by 3 different guests at the wedding and reception. Turned out pretty good.

Don't know if it was from the same site you list but the description is the same.

Oooo, excellent. How was the photo quality? Pixelly, or pretty much like photos?

It was like a fairly good mat magazinwe picture... not as good as home printed, but pretty good.

Especially considering some of the pictures were only 1 mp.

You can make plain binding books of your original photos at Staples (hdere) and probably most large business suppy stores that do binding. The costs are under $10 per book if there is no printing.
