The PC trial version of PSCS3 that I have installed on the university provided computer has more fonts than the one installed on the mac. especially Chinese fonts are missing on the mac.

Is that because the windows of this PC is also in Chinese? How can I install more fonts on my mac version?

Any advise highly appreciated! I like playing with the Chinese Characters, and there are some beautiful fonts for them. Having to rasterise always is very limiting.

Fonts are installed in the operating system not the individual programs. Do a web search for Mac fonts. Fonts often have an install or setup routine attached to simplify installation. If not then you will have to find out how to install fonts on your OS. It usually only entails copying the font to the appropriate folder.
