Picture Cooler de-noise software
#1

I did some shoots at 3200 ISO last night, and quickly became interested in de-noise software. I found this one. It seems to work quite well.

You can try it out for free but it leaves green lines on the image until you get it registered .
You can register $25, or post in a forum like I'm doing now. Big Grin

I'll let you know it I actually get the registration.

here's an example.

Neatimage has a trial version that works great. No green line.

I have just received the rego code, and confirmed that it works.
Cool. Now I can shoot at higher speed with less noise.

The biggest problem I have with any noiseware is the loss in sharpness of the image... okay on something like the above, but not good for anything with fine detail.

Have you tried Noiseware from Imagenomic? They've got a free version...
