They look awfully big - particularly the one aimed at amateurs. I understand cameras that size for pros, maybe...

They're shown with optional battery bottoms attached.
Remove that and they aren't too big.

Yes I have been following all this over on the Dyxum Minolta/Sony dslr's. The way it is looking right now, the high end model seems to be a full focus dslr which is really no shocker seeing as how Zeiss kinda jumped the gun a few months back saying that it's new lenses that were coming out for Sony would not fit their upcoming pro-level camera as it was full focus. A lotta speculation, but as it stands now, it is looking like Sony is jumping into the fray with a big dog in the fight. We will see just how big before years end when at least one is released. If it's full frame, I better start saving my cash NOW!! lol The a100 replacement pictured is actually almost a direct design copy of the old Minolta 9D which was to come out, but never did because of the Sony take over
