Portrait Photography. Color or B/W?
#1

Hi everyone

I love portraits and I've been struggling between black and white and color portraits. For me a black and white is always a way to go deep in your subject but sometimes not the best option. I think it goes well with strong character subjects
but not so well in childrens or family portraits.

What do you think?

I leave some examples of what I mean.

B & W trained!! If I had space, would still have a darkroom.

Comments. First one, clone out all the light bits on LH side, Third one, clone out the budgie/white blob, and reflection in bottom right, makes a big difference.

To each his own!

Thanks for the comments Ed, now that I'm paying attention you are completly right!
About the darkroom I would love to have one as well, I think it is amazing what you can do with your own hands, but with photoshop is so much easier...
