Just wondering if anyone has experienced this first hand, and whether you've noticed prices on lenses and equipment going up?
According to this article (posted 24/4/09), various factors, including weakening dollar, manufacturing shortages and cutbacks with manufacturers have causes prices on lenses and cameras to increase.

If they're to be believed, some shocking increases - e.g. D700 up by $725, D300 by $470, Nikon 14-24 by $600 (Australian).
