Printing odd shaped photo's.
#1

Tried to print a photo on A4 paper, I wanted it to print the full width but keep the aspect ratio of the shot, the Canon software would only increase the size and print on the full sheet, I wanted a white blank bit top and botton, Photoshop CS was even worse.

Have I missed something or is that the way it is? I ened up using Microsoft Publisher, a great product in my opinion by the way.

I often print with white on only two sides in PS:CS... but I do it by sizing the print and then unchecking print full page in the properties of the print dialogue.

I have tried Irfanview but it is not on my system currently. I was a bit concerned that Publisher may have reduced the quality but what was I thinking???

I must have missed the setting for full page/not full page, will have to try again.
