I just purchased the ProOptic 500 mm f 6.3 mirror lens featured in Popular Photography March 2009 issue. Paid 160 dollars plus 35 dollars shipping to Canada. I hope it isn't a waste of money.

well it gives me double the magnifying power and it's light and small.

Heard mirror lenses are nice and sharp, produce some interesting image artifacts (e.g. bokeh) and are fun for the money... let us know how it turns out!

Im stioll waiting to get my t-mount (Its been two weeks). Don't worry I'll let you know ad nauseum when it comes.
