So, how much memory do you have?
#1

Time for an accessories related post...

How much memory do you have for your camera?

I've only got a 256mb card + the 16mb which came with the camera.

256 is definitely not enough... but xD cards are so expensive Sad

I've got 128mb + the 16mb it came with.
For me its plenty for the rare event that I actually use the camera...... hahaha

Nice set you have there Rufus, how do you transfer the files to the Xdrive, does it have a builit in card reader that copies when you put it in/push a button?

Gear:
3 x GoPro Cameras
1 x Canon S100
1 x Nikon D5100
1 x Sony DSC-TX10
Apple MacBook Pro 15" (Retina Display)

Yes, that's right.
It's a bit slow, and 4 or 5 downloads can flatten the Xdrive battery, but usually that isnt an issue. The drive recharges from the car or the mains, so that's handy.

I'd like something like the XDrive with a built in LCD screen, decent size maybe 4+ inches. Any suggestions?

2 x 512mb CF's

The only time they aren't enough is on long shoots, weddings, racing events etc.

1x 1gb
1x 512mb
1x 256mb
1x 128mb
1x 96mb (the free one that Canon sent out for completing a survey)
1x 16mb (useful for firmware upgrades if nothing else ... )

Funny how you buy a 128mb card for a 3mp camera thinking it's sufficient ... then you go on a week's vacation and buy a 256mb card because, if you're diligent about deleting the oof pics, those two should get you through ...

Then you get a 6mp camera and a 512mb card, foolishly thinking it's sufficient ... until vacation time comes up again and you realize that the 1gb card, plus all the others, will just barely suffice as long as you're diligent about deleting the oof pics ...

And soon after that the 20gb x-drive is on your B&H wishlist ...
