Softening Ice on the Assiniboine River

Interesting shot, Don. Can you speak a little about the lines? They look like tire tracks but seem too lage. It would be interesting to see this view as the ice begins to bvreak up.

They are ice skating trails. The snow has been removed and the ice has darkened as it thins.
