Speeding up photoshop
#1

Anyone had any success with tweaking settings to make Photoshop faster? Here are a couple from lifehacker...

I'll try those at home. Hard to believe that this secured this domain name just to publish 2 hints...

1. The "normal" one about deciding where is your scratch disc(done in the initial setting up stages I guess);
2. Reducing the History from its default of whatever it is(112? 128?)...I have mine at about 6!
3. Turning Photoshop off after working on a large tiff, then on again.
I'm sure I'd benefit by a few more too, as my pc/procesor are quite old.

All my stuff is here: www.doverow.com

Only 6 !!

This is for super experts! I have my in 65... Sad

I know that also reducing the number of brushes and tool presents makes it faster, but I believe this is only in the starting phase.
