Things to try with portraits
#1

I really enjoyed this simple but inspiring list of things to try to make your portraits stand out. I really like how each technique is illustrated so poignantly to demonstrate the effectiveness...

Which ones have you tried and which are your favourites?

Excellent article, very interesting blog, ST... Smile

Thanks...

I haven't tried many since I really don't have many people to pose for me or to shoot at to work more with portrait. However when I was in Mexico I tried to take my portraits when they were doing their things and without they knowing I had the camera... my sister in the kitchen, the kids in the garden I think those are the best I have got from them.

I think also this technique is very useful for people that feels uncomfortable with a camera in front of them or is afraid of it. You get more even when they are not looking at the lens.

A work of art which did not begin in emotion is not art.
