This shot is of the boot ( trunk in the States ) of a 1930's Classic Car. They knew how to travel in those days.
Anyone able to name the car ?

Graham -- Nice motor, but not this one.
Mark -- You are so close. Manufacturer is spot on. Only the numeral is wrong. ( Clue: Ascot )

This is not going to be easy. I fancy that it is a rather good restoration of a 1970-1980 model.
Is this the correct date area ?.

Mike. No the car and van are the same vintage 1964 the company was started in the late 30's and went out of business in 1974 and it is original except for mains electric which I installed 30 years ago and I have painted it twice. The -------- Owners Club is the oldest in existence celebrating 70 yrs in 2019.

( Willing to split the First Prize of the Jag with you Craig ) Spot on, it is indeed a Springbok. A couple of weeks ago we ran a rally for the owners club at Bakewell Show Ground to much gear and needed 4x4 so took the P38, 29 outfits turned up and a good time was had by all.
