Yeah, ol' stripey!

Yes that neck and deep real solid wood body give it a rich, sort of "electric double bass" sound.
BUT, the tone circuitry is so effective that the deep purr can be changed right up to a sharp funk sound.
The pick ups are passive despite rumours to the contrary btw. They are a suprisingly high output too!
The body is light, (as it is very small),
and the proportionately huge neck balances it at a 45degree angle on the strap.
Action is soft and quick.
Neck is suitably slim and comfy.

Score? 10/10

I think passive pickups are great - don't have to worry about your 9V battery running out on you in the middle of a gig. Happened to me a few times now... :|
