Anyone know of a program that will automatically make resized copies of all photos in a folder? I really hate having to open each file individually, resize, save as... etc.
BTW, the freer the better!

you can use Macromedia Fireworks or ACDsee which have batch processing capabilities ..
of if you are using windows XP ..
you can get a power toys addon which resizes files usig the file browser ...
this is availible from the microsoft website ..

Does fireworks or ACDsee Compress the images too?

im not sure about ACDsee ..
but when you batch with fireworks you can opt to change quality and do several other things as well ..
but i think useing something freeware would be more vaiable ..
or as i said earlier ..
the windows XP powertoy resizer does the job ..
but the image quality isnt that good ,,,

Could be better quality though ...
its be cool if they built that in as well ..
