I have an Olympus 750UZ (4 Mp, 10x zoom) and a Ricoh Caplio RX (3 Mp, superfast AF). They complement each other well. The Ricoh fits in the pocket, takes nice pictures with no need for half-pressing and can autofocus almost anytime. The Olympus has 10x zoom, slightly better image quality and can mount an external flash, but is clumsy and the AF is slow when it works at all.
I think I'd like the second or third generation of the Ricoh Caplio GX, something like the GX with slightly better picture quality, higher movie resolution and slightly thinner, maybe with 5x zoom as long as the brightness of the lens is still good. Oh yes, it should have swiveling LCD too, and AA batteries. Like, Canon A80 but faster, or Pentax 750 but smaller, somewhat faster and with AA batteries.

I'll bite:
My first camera was an olympus C740. Well my FIRST camera was a Vivitar manual SLR, but that's a different story. Then came the N65 and then the C740 and then the D70 and next, the... Well I'm still in the process of posting about my dream camera, go take a look in that topic when you're done reading this one...
I guess I can say that I'd stick with Nikon just because I seem to like their interface more. I've tried a bunch of different film rebels, the D60, 10D, D-reb, the 1Ds, and I've also tried a D2H and I've read into the kodak, fuji, sigma, olympus... all those bodies. Every one of them has something I like, (canon imaging processor on the 1Ds is FAST, woohoo!) but for the most part I really can't say that one rules over all others because there are currently just so many crippling factors that really need to be addressed. But that's for the rant I'm working on!

Ah. Of course. Do I upload them to my gallery section on this site, or offsite?
