What's the difference between...
#1

Hello!
I've been looking to buy a PCMCIA compact flash card adaptor and would like to know if anyone knows the difference between Sandisk PC Card Adaptor andSandisk Ultra PC Card Adaptor.
I can't find any differences apart from the word "ultra".
Can't find any specifications on it. Can you please help?

Does ultra make it go faster ?

At a guess the Ultra may have faster read/write speeds.

Or it could be the size of the cards that the adaptor supports eg. the Sandisk PC Card Adaptor may only read up to 512mb where as the ultra will read up to 1GB?

No idea just guessing!!!!!

Since light travels faster than sound,
people appear bright until you hear them speak.

What's the price difference?

Can't find any prices, I guess the ultra is faster though, since it's ultra.
I've looked around but can't any specs, all sites seem to have the same standard description about it.

I think that just as long as read speed of the pcmcia card adaptor >> compact flash cards I'll have, then it's okay.
If its not much price difference, I'll go for the ultra, so if i get a faster card, then can take advantage of speed - but it is that much faster? any experiences?

How do you load your pictures into your computer?
at the moment, I'm using a slow slow USB1.1 multi-card-reader.,
