Wide angle

I recently aquired the Zeiss 18mm/3,5 lens for Nikon mount. It arrived one day after i left for a (last tuesday) bike trip to Gotland. Would have loved to have had it with me, oh well. I just got home yesterday evening so i havent had time to go out with the lens as of yet, hopefully later today (if the weather allows it) or tomorrow.

Until then here are some quick snaps of the lens it self. .-)

Initial impression is as to be expected when it comes to build and handling, rendering is also "typical" Zeiss.

Do you have an APS sized sensor? If so, the lens will about a 27 mm equiv in 35 mm terms.

Nikon D3100 with Tokina 28-70mm f3.5, (I like to use a Vivitar .43x aux on the 28-70mm Tokina), Nikkor 10.5 mm fisheye, Quanteray 70-300mm f4.5, ProOptic 500 mm f6.3 mirror lens. http://donschaefferphoto.blogspot.com/
