Working settings
#1

Most digicams have different settings - what do you most commonly use?

- Sharpening: Soft, Normal, Hard, Auto
- Metering: Multi, Center-weighted, Spot
- AF mode: Single shot, continuous, Manual
- White balance: Auto, Custom
- ISO: 64, 100, 200 etc., Auto

I'm the oposite!

I use aperture priority and manual. I dont think I ever use anything else.

Mind you, this isnt surprising when you consider that I " cut my teeth" on the Zenith E, and Pracktica LTL. The Zenith had an external match needle average meter, and was manual exposure only, and manual focus only. The Pracktica was almost the same, but had a match needle in the veiwfinder which was actually connected to the shutter and aperture controls! That was luxury!!! Big Grin

I must admit that I use Program mode (with program shift) most times... and leave the rest of the settings on auto. (shame shame!) Big Grin

Only go to shutter priority if I need to sync flash at a slower speed...

i like shutter priority in lower lighting ..
it underexposes the photo a lil .. but it gives a nice effect..
