Hi all
I've been struggling much too long on a logo for Cloverdale Photography so I'm turning to my friends here at Shuttertalk. I need ideas and examples. I plant to have the logo embroidered on shirts and hats at some point so they need to be relatively simple. minimal colours involved. Also what I had in mind is that I'd be willing to put forth a prize of some sort like the way Shuttertalk does for our challenges. Maybe Julian and I could discuss this farther. Here are the elements that would make up the logo.
Name- Cloverdale Photography
Catch phrase- Adding pets to the family portrait (unsure of this wording. Consider changes. Idea's?)
Logo- ?
What do you all think? Any feedback on this? Idea's?
This would cost me an arm and a paw to have a person draw up professionally.
P.S.
I have sumitted this to a pro to see what he comes up with and how much it would be. Waiting for a reply.
Sit, stay, ok, hold it! Awww, no drooling! :O

It isn't something that will necessarily end up on my website. The idea right now is for a shirt, hat, and maybe update my business card. My main concern is having a shirt to wear. It would just be a embroidered piece that goes on the left chest of a golf shirt. So it would need to be simple and a minimal amount of colour 3 maybe 4 at the most I'm thinking. I'll come up with something for an rough example to get us brain storming. Also I will write up some guidelines and start a new thread on the topic offering a prize. Stay tuned!

Here is something I made up that is simple. However, whatever I choose is something I'm going to want to keep for a long time.

They do look good Christian. However, pawtographer is not in my registered name. Pawtographer and petographer are © registered names in the U.S. I do like what you have done though.

I will have a try, heres my starting point.
I considered the slogan, "Perfect Pussy Pics" but I thought it was a little subtle....

Well I have to say I'm very impressed by the contributions from slej (aka Johnny Sokko).
I'd be hard pressed to choose which of the two to use. Should we go for the one with the big eyes and goofy teeth - or should we opt for the dog with the cute ears and curly conk (aka nose/schnozzle)
I suppose the 'conk' picci would have to be the obvious choice -- unless Slej Rokko objects. :o
