just a few shots from warmer days... with winter fast approaching here in the NW, i'll probably be dredging up some of my older work for show-n-tell, at least until spring comes and i can get out to shoot some more... :/ all taken with a 40D and 100-400L, various settings...

Very beautiful pictures indeed... Smile

Why you say you have to wait until spring to shoot more?

In winter we have some birds around, it is a bit tough to go out in such weather conditions, but still one can get nice pictures of birds in the snow.

I look forward to seeing more of your bird pictures. I have already many months without shooting birds, I miss that somehow.

around here the light is so horrid in winter... the days are dark, gray and wet, and it's just not worth turning on the camera most of the time. there are a few nice days here and there, but for the most part, the outdoor photo season is about done until March, when the birds start coming back...
