swans on the wing
#1

we have a flock of swans that have taken to wintering over at one of my favorite parks. they're a mix of tundra swans and trumpeters, and mostly they don't do much... they like to hang out on a shallow sandbar near the mouth of a small creek that drains into the lake, too far away for good shots unless you have a 500 with a TC. but once in a while they offer photo ops i can catch with my 400...
