Yes, folks, in an ice block. I stuck this little beauty in a Tupperware tub filled with water and froze her solid. Photographed the result high key on a white plastic base, upping the saturation and contrast to give this lovely result. Took a few goes mind, it has to be done quickly otherwise once the ice begins to melt the petals take on a very different half-drowned appearance. Comments appreciated and thanks for looking.
