I recently purchased a new (new to me), lens.
Seeing mr Shaeffer's work here, I was inspired to do something new.

This is called "Looks like the harbour when the tide is out".

I'm proud of this. The lines, the tones, the atmosphere!
Sorry! I missed the "C" out of Schaeffer! Sorry.
What flattery thanks. However, for the record, this is not my kind of work at all.

Don - he is just saying he was inspired, by your work, to do something new.

I like it.
Ah, thank you.
You are quite correct to say that I was inspired by Mr Schaeffer, not trying to mimick him. I dont think I could manage that.
Hi Cremetti,

I am not so sure about the colors. I see the green at the top too bright. When I cover it, the rest of the colors become more harmonic... I think the green at the top is a bit too saturated.

Eventhough the blue and red are strong colors here, they work fine together in a desaturated environment.

I also think that if you crop, let's say 1/4 of the upper part, the dark line and detail would be place in a more dinamic position in the frame.

I like your creativity.

Smile
Looks nice - I like... is it a picture of terriers with coloured jumpers / bows? Big Grin
I'm sorry, I take it that you are the owner of the site?
Your comment seems to make no sense to me.
It makes as much sense as " Looks like the harbour when the tide is out. " !

To me it looks like " Grass in my rear garden with the sheepskin rug in front, and a blue and red sock which had fallen off the washing line onto it."

I suppose everyone sees something different in an abstract.

Now that is really funny!
Makes sense to me... definitely looks like something to do with dogs... Big Grin
The colours are nice, gives a positive image/feeling and also reminds me Van Gogh's brush hits... But also I can see in this picture the shaking pompoms tooSmile But as dear NT said, everyone can see something different in an abstract... But this one enjoyable.

Thank you,
with my love,
