Before I start taking pictures of tulips this year I want to show what I did last year... I used artificial light, 85mm lens and they are a bit soft but I think I like this effect... I hope you like it too...

beautiful, different and original in its softness, very sensual, beautiful tonal transitions, pleasingly lit. The bottom photo has distractingly obvious noise, which I think is worth fixing.

Thanks nia... all is about diffused light... the more diffused your light is the less contrast.
