Some bridal portraits produced with a Lowel Video Light I have been experimenting with.

Cheers,

Sweet!! That looks great and I am sure it is a lot more mobile than strobes and umbrellas.
Cool! Is it mounted on the camera or separate tripod / stand?
Very mobile and comes with a powerful battery pack that you can just sling off one shoulder. I am also going to look into LED lights.

It can be mounted on a hot shoe (although it is quite heavy for that), light stand and it has a handle so you can just hold it up. My assistant is holding it up camera right in both shots. The light can be dimmed and adjusted to a narrow or wide beam and it has barn doors as well.

I haven't used it much as the 50watt bulb it came with wasn't bright enough. However, I put a 100watt globe in for this wedding and it made all the difference.

Thanks,

Chris
What I like about this look (which you may not get with LED lights) is the warmth and glow of the light on the subjects
Very true Toad - want to experiment with the LED in other ways. Like at night when I want a cooler effect.
