.. Sorry chums, I couldn't really justify posting this anywhere else...maybe in the Image Manipulation section in hindsight...
This is yours truly in his Leonardo da Vinci t-shirt which I bought on the Piazzale Michelangelo in Florence last year...
The other week's gig was my first live outing for a few years and here I'm just claiming bragging rights of a sort...
This is a "still"...but it should be called a "hardly"!
Someone "video'd" our first gig with a thing called a Flip; the owner kindly lent it to me to see if I could pull something from it...I trawled through umpteen appallingly-exposed, over-sharpened and trashy jpegs that pass as "stills", pratted about in Photoshop to blur away the artefacts.
I did manage to salvage a few as a sort of promo for the band, which I've put on my PBase galleries....I also nagged Toad to go and visit!
I decided to use the PRS that night, just cos it has a few more frets for me to widdle!
(These guys are a lovely bunch of people, it has to be said)
Here I seem to be given yet another solo, much to the apparent amusement of our bassist Shane...!...

The rest are here if anyone fancies a wee look!!!

The low resolution of the initial images - and the inspired post processing give these captures an eeary and other worldly atmosphere, like I am watching some disembodied band of the dead playing their demonic boogie hell bent for leather...

If I squint, I am sure I see the ghost of Duane Allman...
Oooheck...not quite the feel I wished to convey!
Oddly enough, I do remember trying to pull out a few Dickie Betts runs to suit the song's style thar...!
Dear Zig, I visited the link for the other photographs too, they are so beautiful, I loved them, you captured a wonderful ambience,
well done,

Thank you,
with my love,
nia
You're a treasure nia, thank you.
Those photos are pretty cool - they have a definite 'look' to them, that's for sure! But the good thing is that having a great time doesn't need high megapixels.

I wish I could be there, not least because I have a half-decent audio recorder. (hint, hint…)
Return tickets are on their way... Big Grin
