Well this was my view for a few days from the lounge window. Looking toward the farm. Made me think of Matthews project "Landfill" Wink

Or that Spielberg film "Close Encounters of the 3rd kind" Big Grin

There was a kind of better outlook the other direction, but only in the evening..

I thought he may want a few extra to add to his series. Big Grin

My wife and I were offered the option of staying with her brother and friends in a converted barn, or erecting our tent on a racecourse. The chalet/barn won.
The pile of rubble was on a track leading to the fields, but could be seen from the kitchen window. I immediately thought of Matthews post.
We then had a few day trips to varying wildlife places in the area.

The farm is a working crop farm. Two barns were converted/rebuilt as luxury holiday lets with C/heating, kitchens, tv, etc.
Work never entered my head Big Grin
It just goes to show that cinderblocks have a universal appeal. Big Grin

It sounds like you had a good time.
