DSLR Photography Forum

Hi All,

Just found this forum via the Facebook promotion and am delighted to find it's Australian based (I think) It doesn't actually say that anywhere but I saw a few comments that suggested it and also seems there are quite a few Australian members here.

I live near Melbourne (near the Yarra Valley to be precise) and recently bought a Canon 600D after previously using a compact camera with manual fuctions. I don't belong to any other forums apart from Flickr and have made some great friends there, although they are mostly from other countries.

Look forward to joining some of the discussions here.

There are a lot of Australians here, a few from the UK, and a couple of Canadians as well - while the membership is global, the commonwealth is well-represented.

(I'm one of the Canadians, but with considerable Australian roots.)
