This leaf was partly underwater in a very muddy little stream. Fortunately dirt does not reflect much light in the infrared spectrum:

G1m, 1/80s, f/4, B+W infrared filter, bronze quadtone.
Great effect. Well done.
Very moody Slej. Do you go out hunting with your IR filter on much?
wow... that is some very nice stuff!
Crackin'!
I love this infrared photography stuff of yours, Mitch!

Just wondering - what does the image look like straight out of the camera + IR filter?
Thanks.

SJ: I don't take it out too often; in fact, sometimes I consider selling that camera but other times I'm glad I keep it around. The best part is that it works best in harsh mid-day sunlight, when regular photography isn't as pleasing.

ST: It's just lower contrast straight out of the camera (I keep the G1m at the lowest contrast and sharpness settings as I don't really like Canon's in-camera processing.) Before I had the camera converted I could get some wild false colors, but now with the filter on it's just B&W.
