one of those warm days where the sun is quite filtered through high, thin overcast, so it was bright, but without distinct shadows most of the afternoon - perfect for flower photos! 
shot these with the 5D2 and 100-400L...
ever seen a plant with silver blooms? me neither! 1/1000 @ f/8, 250mm...
