You are right Korry, it is a big bridge.
The Forth Bridge is a cantilever railway bridge. Construction started in 1883 and it was opened on the 4th March 1890. It spans 2,528.7m. Clearance below is 46m. The cantilever structures are 100.6m tall. Mike
