Again, these guys had to be put together in photoshop.

Isn't PS a true peace maker?

Lovely picture, just look at the ears of them!
Good job. Your merging is seamless.
Thanks Fellas. I would rather had put the cat on the right but it just didn't look right. I had to take the dof into consideration and the direction they were looking.
If you like the way they look here, but want the cat on the right - use the "flip horizontal" command in Photoshop - before or after merging.
I think you will like it better this way though. It has great balance as it is.
Very nice, the best of the series to me

All these shots are terrific, and your processing is outstanding. How large are you printing these? How do they look in print?
Thanks for the comments everyone. Mitch, I've printed a series of 8x10's and smaller. 5x7's and wallets. The prints look great except for the photo of the Cocker and the Retriever pup. I had to do some more editing to fix a green cast on the black dog that wasn't evident on the monitor. Easy fix.
I HAVE to become a photoshop expert.
What do you charge Colin??? Private tutoring? That is some fantastic work.
Good job with photoshop! I cannot tell the difference.
This merging and colour cast stuff is not all that hard. I've only just discovered it in the last 3-4 months and am now picking out errors in pictures that are published in newspapers.
The real art is in the photography and the knowledge of the fact you are putting them together in setting up the DOF and the direction they are looking. That is the truest skill out of all of this.. and I think you are very very skilled at it Colin.
Holy smokes! Thanks y'all. Thank you very much.

Hey dog shooter, how are you triggering your main light now? PC cord or via flash?
