I continue to use the Tokina 28-70mm f3.5 macro lens with the Vivitar .43x aux attached(Manual mode of course). It takes my kind of photo I guess. I wandered the neighborhood and got these shots.

How do u like ur d3100? I purchased the d3100 ,3 mts ago. I think its a great camera.
I love it. I use the live view. I tried the video. I can crop a lot more and keep the quality up. I use aperture priority automation but none of my lenses autofocus. It's the perfect camera for me and I feel not-out-of-date (ha ha).

I do must of my shooting in manual mode, that's what Bryan Peterson said to do, in this mode you have control of the aperture n shutter speed.
