How do you do? I'm Steve and photography has been my hobby for more than 60 years and I am in the process of transforming it into a Home-Based Business with me as a Freelance Photographer. I presently have the following: Canon SX160 Digital with 16 megapixels * Yashica FX-3 35mm SLR with the following equipment: Auto DeJUR 35mm f/2.8 wide angle lens * Yashica Lens ML Focal Length=50mm f/2 * Auto DeJUR 135mm f/2.8 Telephoto * ALBINAR ADG MC Auto Zoom Macro f: 3.5~4.8, Focal Lengths=35mm~70mm, * ALBINAR ADG MC Auto Zoom Macro, f: 4.5~5.6, Focal Lengths=80mm~200mm * DeJUR Auto Tele Converter 2X for Contax & Yashica * Asahi Pentax 35mm SLR from the early-1960's with a 50mm f/1.4 lens and an Accura Diamatic wide-angle lens, f/2.8, Focal Length=35mm; Please note: I discovered this Asahi Pentax camera and the described-herein wide-angle lens in a huge trash bin; I sent said camera to Cambridge World Camera Repair Services in Brooklyn, NY for much-needed repairs. I also have a TSM SP Studio Systems Professional Flashmeter by PROLUX. I also have the following brands of electronic flash attachments: Vivitar AUTO 2600 * Vivitar Electronic Flash 2000 Automatic * Braun electronic flash gun * VistaView electronic flash gun.
Welcome to the forum. That's an interesting collection of classic gear. The Takumar 50 1.4 lens is considered to be one of the best, maybe as good as its much pricier Zeiss and Leica counterparts. If you'll get a Canon or Pentax DSLR you can use it with an adapter for great results.
If you have any questions, feel free to ask.

I am about to graduate from the New York Institute of Photography. I have shot literally thousands of pictures including a vast number of them while I was in the U.S. Air Force and stationed in Spain from 1964 to 1967. In addition to shooting photos all over Spain including bullfights, I also shot some in London, England in June of 1966, in Dijon, France in September, 1966 and in then-West Berlin in November, 1966. Hi Stephen and welcome to the forum!

You really do have quite the collection of gear! What kind of shooting will you do for your home based business?

I haven't started my home-based business yet but soon as I get rolling, I'll be doing any kind of shooting my future clients ask for except for any kind of pornography, hardcore or implied. My photo shooting will include children, babies, birthday parties, celebrations, pets, animals, wildlife, Christmas pictures, cars, trucks, motorcycles, boats, yachts, aircraft, closeup & macro-photography, buildings, fishing, landscapes, scenic, travel, sports, industrial, commercial, individual & group portraits, weddings, news, photojournalism, models (neither non-nude nor suggestive) & anything else that can be thought of because more photographs are needed than ever before in today's information-age world.
