I just came across this AMAZING Photoshop plugin (from the readme/website it seems as tho it will work in other Photo editing programs)

It is put simply a basic colour tweaking plugin but it has great results, for example I took my recent photo "Out to sea" and gave it a run thru the plugin and got this:

No prob, I had a fidlle before I posted because I have seen similar before and they were totally useless. but I love how is bought up the greens in the water =) and it also brightened the whole imafe and made it less hazy
