I went on a trip down the centeral cost yesterday and we later went to a hidden town called Patonga and I went tdown onto the beach with my camera and couldn't resist, inless the tide rose more it is till in the sand this moment!

Yes, that's sand all right! Looks like you've got the right white balance, too. Sometimes I've seen some pretty off-colored sand, hehe... Did you take any pictures with your camera pointed elsewhere? "Patagona" sounds pretty exotic...
