DSLR Photography Forum - Lenses for Sony A7 Mirroless

I have been told that Olympus SLR lenses are fully compatible with Sony A7/A7R.
I've also been led to believe that any manufacturers lenses will fit these cameras (with the use of an adaptor) without any loss of quality. Is this possible?
Your advice please.

For Olympus, read, Minolta!! And ,dependent on age, some functions may be lost. Same applies to adapters generally. Personally. I would not go down the adapter route, if available. Ed.

Thanks for that. I'll sit tight for awhile & see what transpires on the mirroless market.
