This is the famous earliest photo by Nicephore Niepce on a bitumen coated plate.

As a reward for the good answers here you have the "boulevard du temple" taken by Louis Daguerre in 1838 in Paris, includes the earliest known candid photograph of a person! try to find it! ahah
