Got to be in the Menu somewhere, no mention in Inst. Book, there may be a more comprehensive version of Inst. Book, on CD supplied with camera. Ed.
ho hum the camera menu cannot be changed from Japanese as it for the Asia market bit of a disappointment as the powershot bought there has a changeable menu!
looks like a language learning curve.

According to Page 74 of the full instruction manual, you can set the language displayed on the screen in the Setup Menu - have you found that setting? Perhaps it will need someone who knows Japanese to alter it?
