I like all 4 of these very much - great captures and treatments, Don!
Thanks Toad. This was amazingly hard to photograph because the light is so poor around here in the afternoon, especially on cloudy days.
I really like #3 and number 2 makes me look at it alot. 4 shows the coldness of winter.. so good work don.

I think the cloudy weather probably helped give the photos their mood. Sunny might not have given the real winter scenario of it.
Great effect on #2. Good use of the rule of 3rds.
I like what you've done with the desaturation / absence of colour - really conveys the essence of winter.

Meanwhile, I look outside my window and I see a cloudless day, hot sun and sunny blue skies! Big Grin
Funny thing was the photos were not desaturated. That's the exact color range that's out there.

I like all of them Don... but my favorite is #2 I like very much the post processing in this picture.... Smile
Thanks, Irma. The trick is to make the ice crystals on the branches visible. There was too much black that made eventhe white crystals too dark to see.
