Thanks Jules. Believe me when I say that's the look as if to say, "Go ahead, put your hand near me!"
I'll also add that the shot was taken with the 420ex bounced off the ceiling. All shots using a bounce method of flash turned out great compared to the ones taken with the A40. All A40 shots were terrible.

It's not just the wide-eyed, cold and threatening stare + the alert, pricked-up ears and fur-raised, arched backbone ...... it's the way the front paws are set with claws-at-the-ready -- Priceless!
I love the finishing touch of Santa's hat on the side too.
