This was a shoot involving several images so here I've placed them on an html page.
I hope the http works ok and the layout is stable.

Photography is a never-ending journey
These photos appeal to me, Peter. I enjoy capturing and viewing images of historic buildings and sites. The spectacular tree shadow in the first shot certainly enhances what would normally be a pretty uninteresting foreground. The shots of the cellarium are nicely exposed (did you use flash there?) and full of interesting shapes.

Cheers.
Philip
Hi Philip, no I didn't use flash. The shot was taken hand held and fortunately I have a very steady hand so never use a tripod, of course the VR helps. I don't usually use auto exposure but it works ok for me on the occasions I do.

Here is the main exif data -

Model: NIKON D300
ExposureTime: 1/15"
Aperture: F3.8
ExposureProgram: Program AE
FocalLength: 22.0 mm
LensSpec: 16-85mm f/3.5-5.6 G VR
ISO: 800
Hi Peter Wonderful series..a couple of the shots I found particularly appealing - the entrance approach (second picture - looks almost like a bridge) and the right hand cellar shot - these are the ones that held my gaze longest...Cheers Jeff

Wow, those are amazing.
