Fashion photography is one type of many in the field. It is used in more of a commercial sense, but we can all learn in the process. Here are a few tips to start with:

1. Fashion photography conveys a message. The better and more cohesive the photography, the better the message is convey regarding the subject. Generally, the subject pertains to beauty and fashion clothing.

2. Use and pull all the elements together during the shooting session. The model should be wearing make-up, have their hair done accordingly, and the set should also show the "mood" desired.

3. If you are new to doing fashion photography, then browse through fashion magazines for ideas in how to have the model pose. Another option is to browse online at photographs.

4. Choose the best place to create the fashion shoot. Usually this will be in a photo studio location of the photographer, but it could also be in other places.
