Great capture, and that row of holes makes me think I have one of these sapsuckers in my back yard, one of my trees has hundreds of holes just like that in it!

Love the fine detail, the rich red, and the blurred background in this picture. I must confess I had never heard of a sapsucker let alone a red breasted one and your picture made me look it up - now I know I know its a woodpecker from the forests of the west coast of north America, I'm not surprised I hadn't heard of it. Such a delightful creature! Would you consider a touch of dark vignette? Regards, Jeff
